About the Role: We’re looking for a skilled Contract SEO Content Writer with direct experience in the manufacturing industry to create high-quality, search-optimized content for industrial and B2B clients. This role is ideal for someone who understands how engineers, buyers, and decision-makers search—and can translate technical topics into clear, authoritative content that ranks.

This is a contract position with consistent work and the potential to grow into a long-term or full-time role based on performance and availability.

Responsibilities

• Write SEO-optimized content for manufacturing and industrial companies, including:
  • Blog posts and articles
  • Service and capability pages
  • Industry-specific landing pages
• Conduct keyword research and align content to search intent
• Write content that balances technical accuracy with readability
• Follow SEO best practices (headers, internal linking, metadata guidance, etc.)
• Incorporate client terminology, certifications, processes, and differentiators
• Collaborate with SEO account mananager, strategists and web developers
• Revise and optimize content based on performance or feedback
• Meet assigned deadlines consistently

Requirements

• Proven experience writing for the manufacturing / industrial / B2B space
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and search intent
• Ability to write confidently about technical topics (machining, fabrication, OEMs, materials, processes, certifications, etc.)
• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills
• Ability to follow briefs, outlines, and keyword strategy
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Clear communication and reliability

• Experience with contract manufacturers, OEMs, or industrial service providers
• Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console
• Understanding of buyer journeys in long sales cycles
