About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Contract WordPress & eCommerce Developer to help build and support custom websites for manufacturers and B2B companies. Our upcoming pipeline includes several large-scale WordPress and WooCommerce projects, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable developing robust, high-performing websites from the ground up.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, custom theme development, and complex website builds. While most projects are in WordPress, experience with Webflow is a plus.
This is a contract position with ongoing project work and the potential for a long-term relationship.
Responsibilities
- Build custom WordPress websites from design files
- Develop and customize WooCommerce functionality
- Configure products, categories, filters, and checkout experiences
- Create reusable templates and components
- Develop responsive, high-performance websites
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement enhancements
- Collaborate with our design and marketing teams throughout the development process
- Assist with website launches, migrations, and ongoing improvements
- Support existing client websites as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of WordPress development experience
- Strong WooCommerce development experience
- Experience building custom WordPress themes
- Experience working with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
- Strong PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and plugins
- Understanding of website performance optimization
- Experience with Git/version control
- Ability to estimate work accurately and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills

- SEO technical implementation
- Experience with hosting platforms and server environments
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
